Esto empezó en una cocina de casa, con recetas de Playa Azul, Michoacán, donde el marisco se come fresco, con limón y sin miedo al chile. Luego vino el food truck, y el este de San José lo hizo suyo, plato por plato.

This started in a home kitchen, with recipes from Playa Azul, Michoacán, where seafood is eaten fresh, with lime, and with zero fear of chile. Then came the food truck, and East San Jose made it their own, plate by plate.

Hoy, padre e hijo atienden nuestro restaurante en Alum Rock Ave. La regla de la casa sigue siendo la misma: si no nos gusta a nosotros, no te lo servimos a ti.

Today, father and son run our restaurant on Alum Rock Ave. The house rule is still the same: if we would not eat it, we will not serve it to you.
